Decorative Laser Marking

Laser marking on plastics has been known for a long time and can be seen in many applications. Since 1995, Gabriel-Chemie has been dedicating itself intensively to this specialty and has further expanded its centers of competence. The advantages speak for themselves: sustainable, permanent, and safe.

Product design is increasingly inspired by benefits, such as contact-free marking, resistance to smudges, chemical resistance, lightfastness, a high level of flexibility for complex and rapidly changing layouts, and the very fine, detailed reproduction of designs.

AT ALL LEVELS

Fine lines | strong contrasts

This is precisely where Decorative Laser Marking comes in, making decorations possible even on soft, raw, tiered or curved surfaces. The use of laser additive master batches makes individual designs possible, alongside customised image reproduction on plastic surfaces. Monochrome images in optically metallised plastics are particularly innovative, creating quite the buzz.

Laser marking itself is experiencing a new trend in terms of sustainability, as decorations and information can be applied without printing ink or other substances, so the object can be directly added to the recycling process.
